for my AP art studio in school, we have to choose a topic for our concentration which consists of 12 art pieces. i am a dancer so i chose my topic to be dance. i'm figuring out ways not to make my concentration traditional and pretty dance drawings. instead, i am trying to capture the motion of the body, not the figure itself. photos taken by me and transferred onto paper through rubbings.

i just want to curl up and hide from myself. i find myself in a viscous unhealthy cycle on the need to look like a supermodel or unnatural skinny girls. i see other girls who are healthy and normal looking and i think wow they look great, but a normal/curvy weight on myself? i'm just not content or comfortable with that. any advice on how to come to peace with myself?

I'm really enjoying the detail in the long dresses as well as the shorter dresses from Julien Macdonald Spring 2010 RTW

Julien Macdonald Fall 2009 RTW. I had to post these outfits too because i appreciate all of the detail in these outfits as well. I began to look closely at the outfits and the texture and fabric seem incredible. They are all pretty simple ideas for outfits but the way they are crafted and how they seem to be crafted with make it all the better.

There are a few pieces from this collection that i like, and there are also some pieces where i just like a few of the items the model is wearing. But a lot of them just seemed wrong to me. Maybe its the make-up combined with the hair and the way the inside out under garments were used, i'm just not feeling it. Any thoughts?

I recently bought a pair of cords the same color at madewell and now i'm thinking about styling them up to look like the way ashley's do. As for the last two pictures i am loving the woven shoes, especially the clogs. I have a pair of woven kitten heels so similar, but i'm not really into kitten heels. Enjoy the pictures!

the hair and the makeup compliment the dress perfectly i would not change a thing
the following are S/S 2010

My favorite designer of the moment. Mark fast was the designer who placed size 14 models in his runway show. Personally, i think he did a remarkable job at incorporating them into the collection without them looking awkward next to skinny models. The plus sized women he chose looked fantastic in the garments and did not even look like a typical plus size model does. Moot to what i just said, the collection itself is simply sexy.
